Discover the timeless art of handbuilding with clay in this engaging, hands-on class designed for adults of all skill levels. Whether you are brand new to clay or looking to refine your practice, you will explore essential techniques such as pinching, pressing, stamping, coiling, and slab work in a welcoming, creative environment.
You will create both functional and decorative pieces, from bowls and vases to more sculptural forms. With expert guidance, each session encourages experimentation and the development of your personal artistic style.
Along the way, you will learn about shaping, texturing, joining, and surface finishing methods, including glazing, to complete your work. By the end of the class, you will take home handmade pieces that reflect both skill and self-expression.
