This three part workshop will explore drawing as its own artform. Rather than thinking of drawing as preparation for other works, youll explore its beauty and range.
Youll dive into conceptual ideas such as creating movement, inventing light sources, and creating series of related images. Various materials and techniques will be worked with such as the Renaissance method of silverpoint drawing, chalks on toned paper, and modern ideas such as drawing with pencil and gesso as well as ink. This is a great way to expand your knowledge and appreciation of drawing while leveling up your drawing skills.
