The work of students in Sharon Bartmann’s Tuesday Morning Meditative Mud class
This class was created as the pandemic was winding down. During this time, I sensed the need for students to discover their creative side and provide an emotional outlet. Working with clay is just that. By using pinch pots, coils, and slab rolling, students find their own voices beyond the basics of clay. They have also explored various surface techniques to bring their work to life.
Having learned their basic skills, these students have taken it in a personal direction. It has become a community, created friendships and so much more. Enjoy their amazing talents and appreciate the hard work that went into these beautiful pieces.
