Learn to metalpoint draw in silver. Before the widespread use of graphite, old masters like Leonardo de Vinci and Hans Holbein drew with sticks of silver, gold, or lead on specially primed paper. Silverpoint is still used by many artists today who innovate the medium in surprising ways. Learn to utilize the natural qualities of silver to create delicate, haunting portraits and still lives. All levels welcome.
