Experience the MAGIC of fire in this handbuilding class. Watch weekly demos to help you bring your ideas to life. Create, glaze, then fire pieces in our Raku kiln. Raku firing is an ancient Japanese technique that creates unique finishes every time. Learn to take a piece from the kiln while it is still glowing red hot and then place it in material that catches fire, reducing oxygen and producing beautiful finishes on your work. Please note that if you are a wheel thrower, you can bring in wheel thrown pieces to alter. You will not be able to throw during class, only alter previously thrown pieces.
