Toddlers (with their grown up) will engage with various materials to create and experience art through sensory experiences. Chelsea will provide a safe, educational environment. Each session will focus on a different material and its qualities, such as texture, color, application, and layering. Week one will be paint, week two clay, week three collage, week four watercolor, week five paper mache and week six a combination of materials. Use toy trucks and animals to make tracks, and use pinecones, leaves, hands, fingers, and other unconventional methods to make marks. Look at the book “Mix It Up” by Herve Tullet, learn the “clean up” song, and listen to a quick story or song related to each week’s theme. Gain a lifelong love of art!
