Create a finished 16″ x 20″ work of art using your own photograph as a starting point. Begin by drawing or tracing your photograph onto a piece of white fabric. Then create your own stencils for cutting out fabric shapes, and piece the shapes onto white fabric using fabric adhesives. Use various embroidery techniques to appliqué and finish your work. We will discuss form, color, composition, line, and technique.
