Learn to translate your ideas into your chosen drawing and painting material whether its dry or wet media, and put them down on your chosen surface. Working simply requires skills and an understanding of materials. It also requires focus and patience with yourself.  In this weekly class I will offer pre-recorded and live demos. I will have weekly powerpoint presentations of contemporary and historical artists that approached simplification in their work. You may work from life or photo reference. I will give individual critiques and everyone will have time to work during class.

Student Supply List:

• Open Media: may work in gouache, oil, watercolor etc.      
• Photos or objects to work from
