This class has already started. Please call to register.
“Stab” or side-sewn bindings evolved from accordian fold books throughtout the Far East. These bindings can be elegant and highly intricate, but well start out with a couple of simple versions. In 8 weeks, through demos and guided instruction, you will make five different bindings; a hard-cover album, a soft sided portfolio to enclose a set of three of your stab-bound books, and a few modern variations on the ancient craft.
