In celebration of our Members & Teaching Artists, we are proud to present the 2023 Members & Teaching Artists exhibition from March 20 – April 21, 2023. All current members and teaching artists are invited to show one piece completed between 2021-2023 and not previously exhibited at Main Line Art Center. The maximum width and height of the piece can not exceed 2.5 ft (30 inches) (including the frame if applicable). There will be no exceptions to the size limit. We have turned one of our galleries into a permanent gallery shop, which means we have less space for exhibitions. If your work exceeds this size in anyway it will not be included in the show. Please be considerate of your fellow artists and only apply with work that meets this size requirement. All 2-D work must be framed (canvases do not need to be framed), securely wired and ready to hang or it will not be exhibited. All mediums are welcome and encouraged! If you are a current member or teaching artist your work will be accepted into the show. The prize juror for the show is TBA. Awards will be given during a reception on Saturday, April 14th from 4 -7 PM. Artwork must be dropped off at the Art Center on Tuesday, March 14 or Wednesday, March 15. Due to the large amount of artists in the show, we can’t make special accommodations for drop off. You must drop off your work during open hours (9 AM – 9 PM) on the dates listed above. Your work must be ready to hang and clearly labeled on the back with your name, name of piece, medium, dimensions and price. If your work is for sale, the gallery works on a commission of 60% to the artist and 40% to the Art Center.
