Martha’s Vineyard, MA

September 6-12
Please call the Art Center if interested for more information.

Fall is magical on Martha's Vineyard…sun warmed days, deserted beaches, vast horizons, brilliant sunrises, awesome sunsets, red clay bluffs overlooking clear sea blue seas, that will capture your senses as you prepare to paint, take photographs, or write. We will drive to Cape Cod, take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard, as time/landscape/seascape stands with a sense of permanence, and the former Portuguese Fishing Village comes into view. There is a gentle wildness to this island of cliffs and coves, with colored stones that slide from the rocks into the ocean…a perfect place to paint! We will stay at the Menemsha Inn, nestled on 14 acres of flowering gardens, rolling woodlands, moss covered stone walls, on the ocean with amazing views.  Transportation, painting workshop, lectures, accommodations, breakfast and more are included.
