Main Line Art Center Gets "In Depth" With Five Art Center Members

Main Line Art Center is known for bringing contemporary art to the community through professionally instructed classes and an extensive exhibition calendar. In the Art Center’s upcoming juried exhibition, Five Select Contemporary Artists: In Depth, the public will have the unique opportunity to view ‘solo shows’ from five Art Center Members, all under the roof of one important regional venue.

5th Annual Betsy Meyer Memorial Exhibition

This November, Main Line Art Center honors the memory of teacher, artist and friend Betsy Meyer with a fifth annual exhibition in her name. Juror William Pym, writer, curator and artist, will give a special walkthrough of the exhibition on First Friday, Nov. 7 at 4:30 pm, followed by the Opening Reception from 6-9 pm.

Main Line Art Center Highlights Local Artists and Art Collectors: Main Line Collects Philadelphia 2008

Beginning May 13, private collectors in the Main Line community will generously lend post-1950 works for Main Line Art Center’s exhibition, Main Line Collects Philadelphia. The exhibition of paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings and light fixtures has been assembled by Curator Mary Anne Dutt Justice from 19 private collections, and represents the work of 42 artists from the Philadelphia area.
