Registration Policies:
Main Line Art Center accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Amex as payment. Enrollment is accepted only after FULL tuition is received. Please read the course descriptions carefully for exact course dates and times. The Art Center does not send registration confirmation. Students should expect registration acceptance unless otherwise notified.
Supply Lists:
It is the student's responsibility to request a copy of a supply list at the front desk or download one on the website at www.mainlineart.org.
Early Registration Discount:
Students registering before August 23 will receive a discount of $10 off their total registration fee. Only one early registration discount can be used per household per session.
Additional Class Discount:
Students who register for more than one class of 7 weeks or more will receive a $10 discount on each additional class thereafter. Students who register for more than one class or workshop of 6 weeks or less will receive a $5 discount on each additional workshop thereafter. As noted in the brochure, larger discounts are sometimes given if a student signs up for an accompanying class. You will only receive that discount and not an additional $10 off for each class.
NEW! Referral & New Student Discount:
Refer a never before registered student to the Art Center and get a $20 discount off your total registration fee for the next session when the new student registers for and completes a class. If you would like to refer a potential student, call 610.525.0272 or email the person's name and address to info@mainlineart.org.
New to the Art Center? Mention this when you call to register or write the promo code NEWBIE on your registration form for $25 off your total registration.
Main Line Art Center reserves the right to deny or change discounts if used inappropriately.
Class Cancellations:
The Art Center reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or in case of a catastrophe. In the event the Art Center cancels a class, students will be notified and full tuition and fee will be refunded. Trip deposits are non-refundable unless MLAC cancels the trip and are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. Cancellations are made five days prior to start of class or workshop.
Withdrawal/Refund Policy:
Prior to 1st class:
100% refund less $15 processing fee. Membership is non-refundable.
Prior to 2nd class:
Pro-rated tuition for 1st class (even if not attended) and $15 processing fee withheld. Supply Fees are non-refundable after the first class. Membership is non-refundable.
After 2nd class:
No refunds are possible. Membership is non-refundable.
Scholarships:
Scholarships are available based on financial need. Please contact the office for an application or download one from our website at www.mainlineart.org/scholarshipform. The deadline for submitting a scholarship application is two weeks prior to the start of the semester. Any applications submitted beyond the deadline date will not be considered. If all application materials are not received on time the scholarship cannot be granted. Space in class may not be held while application is in process.
Publicity Policy:
Main Line Art Center reserves the right to use photos taken during classes and other programs for the Art Center's publicity. Registration in a class gives MLAC permission to use that image without further consent or compensation. From time to time MLAC shares our mailing list with partner organizations in the area so that customers can receive info about related cultural activities that may be of interest. If for any reason you would like to opt out of this list, please email us at info@mainlineart.org.
Weather-Related Closings:
Classes may be cancelled due to severe weather. Main Line Art Center is proud to partner with KYW to give notice to our students of MLAC closings. Information is available by listening to KYW 1060AM, checking the website at www.kyw1060.com or by calling 900-737-1060 (95¢ per call).

Student Property:
The Art Center is not responsible for artwork and other property left on the premises and has no liability if such property is lost, stolen or damaged, except in instances when artwork is displayed in gallery exhibitions and covered by insurance. Any artwork or property left two weeks after the semester ends will be discarded.
Emergency/Pickup Form:
A completed must be completed and submitted to the main office for every child under the age of 18 prior to the child’s first day of class or camp. Adult students over the age of 18 are required to inform the main office if they have a medical condition that the staff or faculty should be aware of in the case of emergency. Forms are kept on files for one year unless there are updates or changes.
Donations:
As a nonprofit organization, Main Line Art Center greatly appreciates all donations that make it possible for the us to continue to offer quality art and outreach programs to our community. In an effort to make the best use of the building and to keep the Art Center organized and accessible to everyone, we ask that you please follow the following policies when making a donation.
Small Donations:
Please bring all recycled donations - cardboard tubes, containers, cigar boxes, tins, etc., - to the new donation bin in the kitchen (next to the coat rack). We ask that you deposit your donations here so that we can easily keep track of what donations we have received while keeping the Art Center clean and organized.
Large Donations:
For items not considered recycled donations, and all large donations, please adhere to the following drop off schedule:

Summer: August 25-30, 2009
Prior to dropping off your donation, please contact Stacie Nussbaum or Katlyn Groppi . The Art Center is very thankful for the generosity of our community, and ask that you please help us keep the Art Center tidy and organized by following these policies.
Lost and Found:
The Art Center has set up a lost and found box on top of the coat rack in the kitchen. Please use this box to deposit all found items. Items will be donated/discarded two weeks after a session ends. Thank you for your cooperation.
